Description
Letter written to Frances from Camp Devens, Massachusetts. He has received the watch. Life in camp is the same: drilling is easy, officers are fine, and food is great. The only negative is the difficulty in getting a pass. He thinks that he will probably stay at this camp and won't be going over again. He sends his best to Marietta and mentions that he hasn't heard from the girl in Hoboken.
