Description
Correspondence from the County Agent for Cooperative Extension Service of the Maryland State College of Agriculture, Women's Preparedness and Survey Commission of Worcester County, and States Relations Service of the U. S. Department of Agriculture. The correspondence includes such topics as visits of County Agents, controlling plant infestations, arrangements for meetings and meeting topics, funding for the position of home demonstrator for Worcester County, food shortages, and instructions to state and county Home Demonstration Agents. Folder contents also include a business card from the Assistant Forester for the Maryland State Board of Forestry at Johns Hopkins University as well as by-laws for the Hog Growers Association. Signatures on letters include E. I. Oswald, Lucy J. Walter, Hammond L. Wessling, John T. Mouror, Mattie C. Taylor, and Katharine A. Pritchett.
