Description
The primary topic of this file concerns the Education League of Worcester County. Minnie Warren provided the club’s constitution. There are several regrets and confirmations for attending meetings. Correspondents include Mary Halloway, K Barnes, MLS, E. Clark Fontaine, Mary B. Pusey, Mary Purnell Wharton, Edith R. Price, Ethel P. Gregor, Mrs. Brevard, Lorraine E. Gore, Edna Staton Whaley, Mrs. Linda W. Hadone, and Margaret Birch. In one letter E.I. Oswald indicated that he had asked Professor Bomberger to attend meeting. He also indicated that he would consult with Dr. McLaughlin on the hog cholera situation. Mrs. Edgar L. Johnston wrote about coordinating Dr. Sartorin's appearance at a League meeting. Another letter indicated that Miss Lorina Corrington, Miss Margretta Purnell, Miss Lucile Collins, Mrs. F. J. Lloyd, and Mrs. E. T. Johnson all served as committee chairman. Aura A. Lloyd wrote that she was sending a check for $6.00 to cover dues to the Federation of Women’s Clubs.
