Included in the file is correspondence pertaining to the passage of the Nineteenth Amendment. There is a letter from Miss Clara E. Benson, an organizer for the Just Government League of Maryland asking for resolutions from Women’s Clubs supporting ratification of the Federal Suffrage Amendment. Also included is a letter to Mrs. Bennett from Clara E. Benson concerning a possible speaking engagement by Mrs. Harriet Stanton Blatch. There are several letters from Mrs. Charles E. Ellicott, President of the Woman Suffrage League of Maryland, as well as a note from Julia M. Robins. The file also contains a pamphlet on Married Woman’s Property Rights
