Description
File contains a collection of correspondence from the Maryland Federation of Women’s Clubs. Included in this file are letters notifying the local president of Annual and Semi-Annual meetings as well as the programs for the Annual Meetings in 1918 and 1919. There are several letters from Frances Sanderson (M. W. Sanderson), President of the Federation of Women's Clubs. One of the letters contained the organization’s Constitution. There are two requests to Rozelle: one asks her to give a toast at a meeting and the other requests her attendance at an Executive Board meeting. A listing of officers and officials of the 1917-1918 Maryland State Federation of Women’s Clubs as well as a Directory of Clubs and their officers is included in the file. Other correspondents include Marian Blanche Noble (Mrs. James B. Noble), Katharine E. Lucke, Mrs. C. W. Sloan, and Charlotte Hewell, as well as a form letter from Mrs. Delphine Doge Ashbaugh, Chairman of the War Victory Commission, General Federation of Women’s Clubs.
