Description
Bound volume of newspaper clippings detailing the proposed Naval Academy training airfield from Sandy Point road to St. Margret's Hunt Club Road to the Magothy River and the Chesapeake Bay. Congress passes the bill on August 6th, through it still opposed by the Anne Arundel County Commission. It is attested that the airfield would not interfere with the construction of the Bay bridge in November. By December, the Anne Arundel County Commission has approved the plan, but the Magothy River association and Gibson Island Club still protest.
