Description
Liber W.G. No. 2, 1724 to 1726, Judgments. Tooled vellum binding; marbled endpapers (not original); label in what is probably iron gall ink written directly on spine. The watermark is a shield containing a fleur-de-lis, surmounted by a crown, with a 4 immediately below the shield and the letters WR under the 4. The countermark is the letters 'IV'. Text block is located in one volumes at msa_s551_37 (MdHR 768). Images of the binding can be viewed at MSA SC 5797-3-6.
