Description
Letter: To "Ted" (Theodore Corner) from "George" (George Washington Corner). Baltimore. The restrictions have been lifted, and a shipment of flour will be sent to Ted as soon as able. Neither Captain Clarke or Captain Pettibone have been by recently, nor are they expected soon. Flour and provisions have gone down along with gold, all having been affected by Confederate reverses. George had a fine day, and expects that Ted worked on his harvest. It is thought that Lee will fight another battle before trying to cross the Potomac.
