Letter: To "Ted" (Theodore Corner) from "George" (George Washington Corner). [Baltimore]. Captain Pettiborne is taking supplies from George to Ted. Discussion of business and amount of things borrowed from other people and on board the ship. This is with Captain Clark and George Roszel. Discussion of gold prices, yesterday it was 162, and now today down to 158. Also of affairs and travels of mutual acquaintences or friends. People mentioned: Rachel (Rachel Shaffer), Mr. Ed Owen, Mr. Sheirs, Henry (maybe Henry Corner), Henry's father (maybe Solomon Corner), Mr. Cooper, Sherwood Binyon, Randolph, Gere, Gibson, Carroll.
