Description
Letter: To "Ted" (Theodore Corner) from "George" (George Washington Corner). [Baltimore]. Sister (either Sarah Jane Corner or Isabell Corner) and Jimmy (maybe James Corner Hiss) visited and brought a letter from Ted. Jimmy went home and was met by Sam at Magnolia. Sam was offered a job as a book keeper by Mr. Norris. Mrs.Will Corner has a fine boy and is doing well according to Grandpa. Mr. Shaffer (Frederick Shaffer) passed along wedding invitations for Ted to deliver to those addressed. Mrs. Gray the young preacher's wife died on Friday night and her body was sent to her parents in Huntingdon, PA. George attended sermons by Mr. Gibson and Mr. Kendric Riley, and discusses church matters. Ma is getting up but still not doing well, the rest of the family is well.
