Description
Letter: To "Ted" (Theodore Corner) from "Thomas" (Thomas Corner). Thomas wanted to let Ted know that Captain White fell overboard last Tuesday. Captain White was harpooning a porpoise. He accidentally fell over and sank in front of his wife. The Bark returned to Hampton road and captain Allen went to Mississippi. Then, Thomas tells Ted that "Meck" (Merzick Corner) is still away and George and his family left yesterday for Niagara. Lastly, Thomas says that when the family returns, he would like to travel down and see Ted.
