Description
Letter: To "Ted" (Theodore Corner) from unknown author. Baltimore. The writer asks Ted if he wants them to send beef and pork up to Annapolis. A letter came from New York stating that Mr. Henry was very ill and not expected to live. Lastly, the writer notes that they saw an advertisement of a sale of a condemned governor in washington and suggests that it might be worthwhile for Ted to go there.

Description
Letter: To "Ted" (Theodore Corner) from "Sis" (Mary J. Corner). Baltimore. Mary meant to write Ted a letter on Monday night, but felt too lazy to do it. The first half of the letter talks about how Sis met with a couple of women. She hopes that Rach (Rachel Shaffer Corner) is feeling better. The second half of the letter talks about the visitors that both Mary and Ted had in the past week. She ends the letter by telling Ted that she was not successful at the sale, but will attempt it again if she sees another advertisement.

Description
Letter: To "Theodore" (Theodore Corner) from "Sol" (Solomon Corner). Baltimore. Sol lets Ted know that he plans to visit him next Friday with his children. If it is convenient for Ted, Sol asks him to meet them in Annapolis. They have been planning to visit Ted for weeks, but haven't had a chance to come to Annapolis.

Description
Letter: To "Ted" (Theodore Corner) from "Merzick" (Merzick Corner). Baltimore. Merzick wanted to visit Ted in early July, but his plans keep changing unexpectingly. He tells Ted that their family will try to visit him in the fall. George left on Thursday to accompany "Ma" (Sarah Johnson Corner) to Harford and haven't returned yet. Then Merzick talks about the farm and mentions that if the Brickhead escaped from getting captured, the ship should be back in 10 days. He ends the letter by letting Ted know that he sent some items for him with Captain Pettiborne.

Description
Letter: To "Bro. Corner" (Theodore Corner) from "B.J. Nelch" (B.J. Nelch). Baltimore. Nelch starts the letter by telling Ted that their beloved brother, Captain White, suddenly past away. Captain White had suffered a deep affliction. At their monthly meeting, Brother Gibson had requested to deliver a funeral next Saturday afternoon. The purpose of this letter was to ask Ted to attend the funeral next Saturday since they want to have all of their band present for it.

Description
Letter: To "Ted" (Theodore Corner) from "Thomas" (Thomas Corner). Thomas wanted to let Ted know that Captain White fell overboard last Tuesday. Captain White was harpooning a porpoise. He accidentally fell over and sank in front of his wife. The Bark returned to Hampton road and captain Allen went to Mississippi. Then, Thomas tells Ted that "Meck" (Merzick Corner) is still away and George and his family left yesterday for Niagara. Lastly, Thomas says that when the family returns, he would like to travel down and see Ted.

Letter: To "Capt. Corner" (Theodore Corner) from "Boyle" (Boyle). In this short letter, Boyle talks about his servant, who had left something for Ted. The servant requested Boyle to write Ted to let him know that she would like to meet him. Boyle ends the letter by asking Ted to call him when Ted is visiting Annapolis.

Description
Letter: To "Ted" (Theodore Corner) from "Merzick" (Merzick Corner). Baltimore. Merzick tells Ted that if the weather is "farmable," he will visit Ted next Monday. Merzick asks how many people could Ted accomondate because he is worried that he might bring too many people for Ted's comfort. Lastly, Merzick lists all the people who are planning on coming. Then he lets Ted know that they have no problem sharing a bed, if there are any issues with his family staying over.

Description
Letter: To "Ted" (Theodore Corner) from "Merzick" (Merzick Corner). Baltimore. Merzick was glad to hear that the keg safely reached Ted. Merzick called an office in Baltimore and was told that they would take the sick if the request was approved. Ted would have to request for them to come. Then, Merzick says that little Ted was delighted to receive a letter today. Lastly, Merzick says that he will travel to New York in two weeks abd hope that the Brickhead arrived at Pernambuco and was there for 35 days.

Letter: To "Ted" (Theodore Corner) from unknown author. Schwalback. The majority of the letter describes the writer's desire for country life. They ask Ted's opinion between city and country life. The writer's health has improved because of a nearby spring. Lastly, the writer describes the european countryside and tells Ted that they will go to Switzerland in two weeks.

Letter: To "Theodore" (Theodore Corner) from "S. Corner" (Solomon Corner?). Baltimore. Solomon asks Ted to send him some of Ted's peaches if it is not too troublesome. Solomon will pay for them when he sees Ted or George. They are all well except for Sarah, who is having problems with her liver.

Letter: To "Ted" (Theodore Corner) from "Jas Robinson" (Jas Robinson). Sunny Side. Jas writes to let Ted know that the dog safely arrived to them. The children are delighted and the dog is growing nicely.They had a lot of family visiting throughout the summer and enjoyed spending time with them. Then, Robinson discusses the wheat crop and wants to know if Ted would like to try them. Robinson will send it by wagon. Lastly, Robinson encourages Ted to visit them with his family.

Letter: To "Uncle Ted" (Theodore Corner) from "Mary" (Mary Corner). Baltimore. Mary thanked Ted for sending the peaches. She writes tha her mother received a letter from Mary Robinson that morning, letting them know that their family is at Williamsfrock (spelling?) and enjoyed their trip to Niagara. Aunt Laly's health has been improving. Mary informs Ted that Uncle George received a letter from Merzick stating that he had been robbed. Lastly, Mary tells Ted know that the family sends love and regards to him and Aunt Rach.

Letter: To "Ted" (Theodore Corner) from "Merzick" (Merzick Corner). New York. Merzick was sorry to hear that Ted received little pay from his peaches and believed that they underpaid Ted. Then, he mentions a piece of land that was recently sold for a low price. Merzick ends the letter by asking if Ted could send some pears to him and suggests that Ted should write to the paper.
