Description
Letters from John Tilghman, Queens Town, to John Gibson, Magothy. July 1817 lettermentions a Chancery case involving William __[??] and attempts to reach setlement. Sept 1819 letter mentions dry weather and grain; Feb. 1819 letter mentions Edwin Pratt; Mr. Bordley and the sale of "the island;" mention of Mr. Sim and terms of sale; "hard times." Aug 1817 letter mentions getting the Governor to issue a nolle prosequi.
