Description
Defense of Samuel Chase before the General Assembly respecting his eligibility to serve as Delegate for Anne Arundel County. Chase had resided in AA County a number of years but " found it necessary for the support of his family to remove to Baltimore" in August, two months before the General Election in which he was returned as a delegate. His seat was in dispute.
