The Guide began publication May 31, 1951 [v. 25, no. 15] and ceased December 27, 1956 [30th year, no. 45]. It was published weekly. The newspaper was formed by the union of the Guide (Baltimore: 1950: northeast edition) and the Guide (Baltimore: 1950: southeast and county editions) and was continued by the Baltimore Guide (Baltimore: 1957).
