The Baltimore Telegraph and Mercantile Advertiser began publication May 17, 1814[?] and ceased in April 1816[?]. It was published daily, except Sunday. Title history based on June 23, 1814 [v. 1, no. 37]. Other editions include the Baltimore Telegraph (Baltimore). The newspaper merged with the Federal Republican (Georgetown, D.C.: daily) to form the Federal Republican and Baltimore Telegraph (Baltimore: 1816: daily).
