The Baltimore Intelligencer began publication March 7, 1798 and ceased in May 1799. It was published triweekly. Title history based on March 30, 1798 [v. 1, no. 11]. The newspaper continues the Eagle of Freedom; or, The Baltimore Town & Fell's Point Gazette (Baltimore: 1796) and was continued by the American and Daily Advertiser (Baltimore: 1799).
