It was also published as the Museum and Weekly Gazette. It was preceded in August 1813 by an unnumbered and undated prospectus entitled Museum Weekly Gazette. It was printed by G. Dobbin and Murphy, 1813; Joseph Robinson, 1813. The newspaper was continued by the National Museum, and Weekly Gazette of Discoveries, Natural Sciences, and the Arts (Baltimore: 1814).
