Co. 1921-1968; Harford Press Inc. 1969-1973; Harford Printing and Publishing Company 1973-1986) The Harford Democrat and Aberdeen Enterprise began publication January 7, 1921 [vol. 53, no. 20] and ceased June 4, 1986 [129th year, no. 23]. It was published weekly for Bel Air and Aberdeen. It was published as the Harford Democrat and the Enterprise, January 7, 1921, and as the The Harford Democrat & Aberdeen Enterprise, [May 4, 1930]-1947. The newspaper was formed by the union of the Harford Democrat (Bel Air: 1868) and the Aberdeen Enterprise (Aberdeen: 1889) and was absorbed by the Record (Susquehanna edition) (Havre de Grace: 1982).
