The Advertiser-Republican began publication on November 12, 1908 [v. 99, no. 1] and ceased September 19, 1918 [v. 110, no. 6]. It was published weekly. It was also published as the Advertiser Republican. The newspaper was formed by the union of the Advertiser (Annapolis: 1898) and the Maryland Republican (Annapolis: 1894) and was continued by the Weekly Advertiser (Annapolis: 1918).
