The Daily Union began publication May 1, 1845 [v. 1, no. 1] and ceased April 15, 1857 [v. 6, no. 310]. It was published daily, except Sunday. Other editions include the Weekly Union (Washington, D.C.), the Semi-Weekly Union (Washington, D.C.), the Campaign (Washington, D.C.: 1848), the Campaign (Washington, D.C.: 1852) and the Daily Globe (Washington, D.C.: 1844). Numbering is irregular. The newspaper continues the Daily Globe (Washington, D.C.: 1844) and was continued by the Washington Union (Washington, D.C.: daily: 1857).
