The Eastern Shore Times and Maryland Beacon began publication January 29, 1970 [v. 46, no. 31] and ceased August 2, 1973 [v. 51, no. 54]. It was published weekly. It was also published as the Eastern Shore Times Maryland Beacon, February 12-July 23, 1970. The newspaper was formed by the union of the Maryland Beacon ([Berlin]) and the Eastern Shore Times (Berlin: 1932) and was continued by the Eastern Shore Times (Ocean City: 1973).
