The Baltimore Gazette began publication May 2, 1881 [no. 6,975] and ceased April 15, 1882 [no. 7274]. It was published daily, except Sunday. Other editions include the Weekly Gazette (Baltimore: weekly). The newspaper continues the Gazette (Baltimore: 1876) and was continued by the Day (Baltimore: 1882).
