Collection History
(Baltimore: Maryland Press Association) The Maryland Delaware DC Press Association was established in 1908 as the Maryland Press Association. The Association published a monthly newsletter entitled the Secretary's Bulletin. This was succeeded by the Maryland Press Association Bulletin, which was first issued in January 1946. The title was changed to the Maryland Press Association News in August 1958. The Maryland Press Association became the Maryland-Delaware Press Association when the Delaware Press Association joined in 1961. The monthly publiction of the Association became the Maryland Delaware Press Association News in December 1961. The title was changed in July 1965 to the Maryland Delaware Press News. When newspaper publishers in the District of Columbia joined in 1969, the publication was retitled the Maryland Delaware DC Press News with the issue of March 1969. The News continues to be published monthly by the Association.
