The Frederick Citizen began publication in 1890 and ceased February 22, 1895 [v. 74, no. 33]. It was published weekly. Title history based on December 12, 1890 [v. 69, no. 23]. The newspaper continues the Republican Citizen (Frederick: 1836) and was continued by the Citizen (Frederick: 1895).
