Hand copied account entitled “ Daring Exploit and Murder of Lieutenant Walter Bowie, Copied from Scrapbook”. This discusses account of the Bowie family identified in folder number 4. Most likely after September 1863. Letter is signed by Allen Bowie and mentions Colonel Mosby, the younger Bowie brother. Places named; Port Tobacco, Sandy Springs, Washington, Brookville, Stanley’s Church in Prince Georges County.
