Description
Petition with over 50 signatures; "To the Honorable The General Assembly of Maryland. We the undersigned, very respectfully urge by this our memorial a protest against the passage of the Bill, now before your Honorable body, and known as a Bill for the appointment by the Legislation of a 'Board of Public Safety' believing that such Bill if passed would prove a Military Despotism." Over fifty signatures follow the text. This document is also specifically addressed on the verso to Major General Kimmell. This sheet is affixed to a blue sheet that contains docketing on the verso. (one page, n.d., 20" x 8", n.d.)
