Description
Petition, Petition Against Maryland's "Act for the Peace and Safety of the State." Addressed "To the Honorable the General Assembly of the State of Maryland." Written and signed by the citizens of Frederick County. 29 signatures. 1861. Several old horizontal folds, multiple ink stains, several pieces missing as well as nicks along edges and some separations along folds. Poor condition.
