The newspaper continues the Weekly Advertiser (Annapolis: 1918) and was continued by the Maryland Gazette Combined with the Glen Burnie News (Annapolis: 1948). Archives' collection includes issues for 1922-1924, January-September 1925, November 1925 (various issues), 1926, 200th year anniversary edition [1927] (MSA SC 1816), 1927-1935, 1936-1948 (various issues).
