(Rising Sun, Cecil County: W. H. Pennington & Bro.) The Rising Sun Journal began publication began April 24, 1880 [v. 2, no. 27] and ceased July 31, 1885 [v. 7, no. 42]. It was published weekly. It continues the Home Journal (Rising Sun: 1878) and was continued by the Midland Journal (Rising Sun: 1885).
