Newspaper, Baltimore Weekly Gazette
History
(Baltimore: Welsh, Taylor & Co.) The Baltimore Weekly Gazette began in 1868. It was published weekly. Title history based on February 8, 1873 [v. 7, no. 6]. Other editions include the Baltimore Gazette (Baltimore: 1865) and the Gazette (Baltimore: 1876). The newspaper was continued by the Weekly Gazette (Baltimore: weekly). Archives' collection includes issue for January 29, 1876. This project was sponsored by the Maryland State Archives and the Maryland Historical Society with funds provided by the Board of Public Works, State of Maryland and the National Endowment for the Humanities, grant #RC 25304-77-21.
