Newspaper, Democrat and Journal
History
(Towson, Baltimore County: [s. n.]) The Democrat and Journal began publication May 27, 1905 and ceased publication March 6, 1915. It was published weekly. Title history based on January 5, 1907 [v. 41, no. 1]. The newspaper was formed by the union of the Baltimore County Democrat (Towson: 1870) and the Maryland Journal (Towson: 1865) and was absorbed by the Jeffersonian (Towson: 1911). This project was made possible through funds provided by the Maryland State Archives and the United States Newspaper Program of the Library of Congress and the Office of Preservation, National Endowment for the Humanities.
