History
(Upper Marlboro, Prince George's County: N. A. Stockett) The Marlboro' Gazette, and Prince George's Advertiser began publication July 7, 1836 [v. 1, no. 1]. It published weekly. It was also published as Marlbro' Gazette, and Prince George's County Advertiser [1840-1843] and the Prince Georges County Advertiser. The newspaper was continued by the Marlboro' Gazette, and Prince George's Advertiser (Upper Marlboro: weekly). Issues of this newspaper are from the collection of the Enoch Pratt Free Library, deposited at the Pratt by the publishers of the Enquirer-Gazette, Upper Marlboro.
