The Republican Star, or, Eastern Shore General Advertiser began publication September 7, 1802 [v. 1, no. 1] and ceased September 20, 1814 [v. 13, no. 3]. It was published weekly. It was also published as the Republican Star September 20, 1814 and the Eastern Shore General Advertiser. The newspaper continues the Republican Star, or, Eastern Shore Political Luminary (Easton: 1799) and was continued by the Republican Star, or, General Advertiser (Easton: 1814).
