History
(Centreville, Queen Anne's County: W. W. Busteed) The Centreville Observer began publication July 26, 1864[?] and ceased October 29, 1936 [v. 73, no. 15]. It was published weekly. Title history based on November 2, 1869 [v. 6, no. 21]. The newspaper continues the Centreville Times (Centreville: weekly) and merged with the Queen Anne's Record (Centreville: 1933) to form the Queen Anne's Record the Centreville Observer (Centreville: 1936).
