History
(Preston, Caroline County: Caroline Pub. Co.) The Preston News the Bay Country Farmer began publication February 19, 1942 [v. 5, no. 24] and ceased February 1, 1962 [v. 27, no. 25]. It was published weekly. It was published as the Preston News and the Bay Country Farmer, March 5, 1942-August 22, 1946, and as the Preston News & Bay Country Farmer, August 29, 1946-1962. The newspaper continues the Preston News (Preston: 1937) and was continued by the News & Farmer (Preston: 1962).
