History
(Annapolis, Anne Arundel County: P. Merrill) The Capital began publication June 22, 1981 [v. 97, no. 146]. It published daily, beginning September 20, 1987; daily, except Sunday, 1981-September 19, 1987. Beginning September 20, 1987, the Sunday edition was called the Sunday Capital. The newspaper continues the Evening Capital (Annapolis: 1922). Archives' collection includes issues for April 1, 1988 [MSA SC 3389].
