The Baltimore County Advocate began publication February 24, 1850 [v. 1, no. 1] and ceased December 7, 1850 [v. 1, no. 42]. It was published weekly. It was also published as the Baltimore County Advocate and General Advertiser, March 2-9, 1850. It was also published at Cockeysville, August 31-December 7, 1850. The newspaper was continued by the Baltimore County Advocate and General Advertiser (Cockeysville: 1850).
