History
(Baltimore: Kerr & Co.) The Daily Exchange began publication February 22, 1858 [v. 1, no. 1] and ceased September 14, 1861 [v. 8, no. 1094]. It was published daily, except Sunday. Other editions include the Tri-weekly Exchange (Baltimore), the Weekly Exchange (Baltimore), and the Dollar Weekly Exchange (Baltimore: 1860). The newspaper was continued by the Maryland Times (Baltimore: 1861). Archives' collection includes issues for February 22, 1858-February 21, 1861 [MSA SC 3434], and July 25, 1861 [MSA SC 1925-1-16].
