(College Park, Prince George's County: Journal Newspapers) The Prince George's Journal began publication January 2, 1975 [v. 1, no. 1]. It was published daily, except Saturday, Sunday, and weekday postal holidays, beginning September 14, 1981; weekly, 1975-September 22, 1977; semiweekly, September 28, 1977-September 11, 1981. It was published at Lanham, beginning November 17, 1981. Archives' collection includes issue for January 9, 1985 [MSA SC 3446].
