The Hagers-Town Torch Light and Public Advertiser began publication in 1837 and ceased June 26, 1846 [v. 32, no. 38]. It was published weekly. Title history based on December 7, 1837 [v. 24, no. 8]. It was also published as the Hagers-Town Torch Light & Public Advertiser. The newspaper continues the Torch Light & Public Advertiser (Hagerstown: 1835) and was continued by the Hagers-Town Torch Light (Hagerstown: 1846).
