History
(North East, Cecil County: Geo. O. Garey) The Cecil Star was published weekly. Title history based on October 23, 1886 [v. 5, no. 13]. The newspaper continues the North East Star (North East: 1882) and was continued by the Cecil County Star (Elkton and North East: weekly). This project was made possible through funds provided by the Maryland State Archives and the United States Newspaper Program of the Library of Congress and the Office of Preservation, National Endowment for the Humanities.
