Newspaper, Cecil Democrat, and Farmers' Journal
History
(Elkton, Cecil County: H. Vanderford) The Cecil Democrat, and Farmers' Journal began publication in 1846[?] and ceased in 1850. It was published weekly. Title history based on January 3, 1846. The newspaper continues the Cecil Democrat (Elkton: 1842) and was continued by the Cecil Democrat (Elkton: 1850). This project was made possible through funds provided by the Maryland State Archives and the United States Newspaper Program of the Library of Congress and the Office of Preservation, National Endowment for the Humanities.
