Master biographical database file compiled by the Maryland State Archives archivists, assigning PIN (personel identification numbers) to any biographical research done at the Archives and cross references the research to other specific biographical special collections.

This is done because of the file size or format, to honor copyright restrictions or because the files are restricted to staff access only.
