The Hagerstown Mail began publication in July 1828 and ceased April 22, 1831 [new ser., v. 1, no. 4]. It was published weekly. It was published as the Hagerstown Mail and Washington County Republican Advertiser July 2, 1830-April 1, 1831. The newspaper was continued by the Mail (Hagerstown: 1831).
