History
(La Plata, Charles County: Southern Maryland Pub. Co., Inc.) The Charles County Leaf began publication in October 1959 and ceased in March 1966. It was published weekly. Title history based on October 29, 1959 [v. 8, no. 42]. The newspaper continues the Charles County's Waldorf Leaf (Waldorf: 1953) and merged with the Times Crescent (La Plata: 1898) to form the Times-Crescent the Charles County Leaf (La Plata: 1966).
