History
(Waldorf, Charles County: Talbot T. Speer) The Charles County's Waldorf Leaf began publication in 1953 and ceased in October 1959. It was published weekly. Title history based on May 20, 1954 [v. 2, no. 20]. It was also published as the Waldorf Leaf. It was published at La Plata [April 12, 1956-October 1, 1959]. The newspaper absorbed the Southern Maryland Times (Glen Burnie: 1927) and was continued by the Charles County Leaf (La Plata: 1959).
