Newspaper, Baltimore County Herald
History
(Towsontown, Baltimore County: Charles A. Conner) The Baltimore County Herald began publication in March 1870[?] and ceased in September 1885[?]. It was published weekly. Title history based on April 2, 1870 [v. 1, no. 2]. It was also published as the County Herald. The newspaper was absorbed by the Baltimore County Democrat (Towson: 1870). Archives' collection includes issues for April 2, June 18, and September 3, 1870; June 17, 1876; August 5, November 25, December 2, 9, 30, 1882; and January 13 and February 3, 1883. Microfilming of these newspapers was made possible through funds provided by the Maryland State Archives and the United States Newspaper Program of the Library of Congress and the Office of Preservation, National Endowment for the Humanities.
