History
(Baltimore: R. M. Cloud & Co.) The Daily Argus began publication in 1840 and ceased in 1842[?]. It was published daily. Title history based on June 26, 1841. The newspaper merged with the Baltimore Republican (Baltimore: 1837) to form the Republican & Daily Argus (Baltimore: 1842). Archives' collection includes issue for January 19, 1841 [MSA SC 1925-1-9].
