History
(Baltimore: Yundt and Brown) The Federal Intelligencer, and Baltimore Daily Gazette began publication October 30, 1794 [v. 2, no. 312] and ceased December 30, 1795 [v. 3, no. 672]. It was published daily, except Sunday. The newspaper continues the Baltimore Daily Intelligencer (Baltimore: 1793) and was continued by the Federal Gazette & Baltimore Daily Advertiser (Baltimore: 1796). Archives' collection includes issues for May 9, 1795 [v. 3, no. 473] (MSA SC 964), May 14, 1795 [v. 3, no. 477] (MSA SC 612-1), May 15, 1795 [v. 3, no. 479] (MSA SC 964), May 20, 1795 [v. 3, no. 482] (MSA SC 964), May 23, 1795 [v. 3, no. 485] (MSA SC 964), and December 12, 1795. For abstracts, see: Robert Barnes, Gleanings from Maryland Newspapers 1791-1795 (Lutherville: Bettie Carothers, 1976).
